FIT4SPORT
The Brockville Sports Fit4Sport certified trainers design programs for individuals and teams from any sport and of all abilities. Personal and group training sessions can be held in your facility, or sessions can take place in our fitness studio in Downtown Brockville. The Fit4Sport sessions focus on 1 to 4 areas of training, depending on the needs that are identified at a free consultation.
1. Athleticism
Through activities and drills, participants develop general athletic abilities such as balancing, stabilizing, reaction time, speed, agility, eye-hand coordination, and foot-eye coordination. General athleticism is a key component of high performance in any sport.
2. Energy systems
A time-motion analysis will be completed for each athlete to identify the energy systems used in their sport and, if appropriate, position. Athletes will cross-train the energy systems.
3. Strength
Through a series of exercises, athletes will develop their core body and strengthen the movement-specific muscles for their sport.
4. Flexibility
Participants will increase their range of motion around the major joints in the body and, more specifically, around the joints that are most frequently and vigorously moved in their sport.
